The Animal Shelter Advisory Board will meet on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 06:00 PM in the Georgetown
Animal Shelter at 110 WL Walden Dr., Georgetown, Texas 78626.

Animal Shelter Advisory Board meetings are held monthly unless otherwise noted.
Call to Order at 06:00 PM
1. Citizens comments
2. Budget presentation by Laurie Brewer, Director of Finance for 2011/12 budget
3. Approval of minutes from February and March advisory board meeting
4. Introduction of Animal Shelter Advisory Board members as new year of service begins – Mike
Simpson
5. Discussion and possible action to elect new board officers – Mike Simpson
6. Presentation about Animal Services including statistical and analytical report for March 2011 – J
Carey
7. Discussion and possible action about free cat spay/neuter clinics – J Carey
8. Discussion and possible action on public communicate and education on the shelter’s
achievement of no-kill status in February 2011 – Mike Simpson
9. Discussion and possible action on modeling the capacity utilization of the shelter’s resources for
budget planning and public communication – Mike Simpson
10. Discussion and possible action on methods that may be employed to communicate statistical
and other animal welfare related information to the community and what information should be
included in any projects to accomplish this goal – Mike Simpson
