Approved 6-0. Regular Agenda 920058 Citizens wishing to address the Council. No citizens chose to address Council at this time. 920059 Mayor, Council, City Manager, and staff comments and reports o Council/Parks and Recreation Committee joint meeting Sat. Feb. 29 Bob Hart announced that a follow-up meeting with the Parks Committee has been set for Saturday, February 29, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Library Meeting Room. Minutes of City Council Meeting February 11, 1992 Page 3 of 5 Pages Hart made final arrangements for traveling to San Antonio with those members of the Council who would be attending the Henry G. Cisneros Leadership Symposium on February 13 and 14. Consideration of and possible action on the following items: 920060 Report on the independent audit of all accounts of the City, report to management and single audit reports for the fiscal year ended September 30, 1991/ Glenn Reynolds Reynolds introduced Earl Maxwell of Maxwell, Locke and Ritter, who congratulated staff on five years of improvement in their financial reporting. He explained that the city staff had this year performed the entire function of producing the audit report including formatting, printing and assembling the information. Council expressed their pride in the Finance Division. Motion by Torn, second by Voltz to accept the report to management and single audit reports as presented for fiscal year ended September 30, 1991. Approved 6-0. 920061 Resolution to authorize the City to implement a wood chip recycling program at the Public Collection Station and waiving fees on brush brought to the Collection Station for chipping/Hartley Sappington Motion by Torn, second by Schrawger to authorize the implementation of the wood chip recycling program and authorizing the waiving of fees on brush brought to the collection station for chipping. Approved 6-0. 920062 Ordinance No. 92-2 extending the City's subdivision regulations from its current expiration date of February 28, 1992 to a revised expiration date of May 1, 1992/Hildy Kingma and Ed Barry Motion by Valdez, second by Schrawger to approve the ordinance on second reading. Approved 6-0. 920063 Ordinance No. 92-3 amending Sec. 2.36.020 "City Commissions, Committees, and awards" and Sec. 2.64.010 "Building Trades Board of Appeals" of the Code of Ordinances --Second Reading/Bob Hart Motion by McMaster, second by Torn to approve the ordinance on second reading. Approved 6-0. 1 Minutes of City Council Meeting February 11, 1992 Page 4 of 5 Pages Mayor Connor expressed his satisfaction on the Council's progress on setting parameters and establishing policies of the City commissions, committees and boards. McMaster noted that Round Rock Council Member Tish ®atman had written a note congratulating Georgetown on the successful TML Region X Meeting. Dart noted that TV News Channel 36 filmed the ADA Training taking place at the Community Center today. Mayor Connor again thanked city staff for the TML Region X Meeting. Mayor Connor handed over his files from the previous Council Compensation Committee, and asked that the new committee have their results to the Council before the May 2 election.
