The meeting was called to order at 7:06 a.m.
School Board Members

Nancy Benold
Marty Tyree
Jeff Morrow

City Council Members
Present:
Mayor Bill Connor
Mayor Pro Tem Mike McMaster
Joe Saegert
Ferd Torn
Bob Schrawger
Barbara Pearce
Also in attendance were City Manager Bob Hart and School Superintendent Dr. Jim Gunn.
The following items were discussed:
1. Need to communicate regularly.
2. Need for sidewalks for children safety.
3. Need for park in the west side of town, perhaps at the junior high or perhaps the lighting
of the tennis courts.
4. School Resource Officer
5. Study of Williams Cave for endangered species
6. Need to re -adopt and review economic incentive package after May; send the Georgetown
Industrial Foundation Monthly Reports to the School Superientendent
7. Summer recreation program at Williams School.
8. Plano concept of city/school use of school facilities.
Mayor Connor invited the School Board to attend the Carver Governance Workshop, on Friday,
June 7th.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:58 a.m.
