The City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, met in a special session on the above date
with Mayor Bill Connor presiding.

SPECIAL SESSION - -Call to Order 8:40 a.m.

900633 Discussion of modifications to the Subdivision Ordinance at request of the
Subdivision Review Committee /Councilmembers Schrawger and Tonn
John Warden reviewed the history and current policy regarding extension
of utility lines to the far edge of any property being developed ("stub outs").
Members of the Council discussed the pros and cons of this policy. Mayor
Connor and Councilmembers Schrawger and Bonner spoke in favor of continuing
the current policy.

Mayor Connor stated that the Leander Rd. improvement project is badly
needed due to the amount of congestion found on that road. He also stated that,
if the project is not done now by the State Dept. of Highways, the City will have
to pay for the same improvements at a later date.
Councilmembers Saegert and Bonner questioned aspects of the proposed
improvements, namely drainage and the amount of right -of -way that would be
required.
Councilmember Schrawger commended Councilmember Pearce and Bruce
Barton for their excellent presentations to an industrial prospect last Saturday.
Mayor Connor adjourned the meeting at 9:32 a.m.
