The City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, met
workshop meeting on Thurday, August 9, 1990 with Mayor Bill
presiding.

Call to Order -5:10 pm
Budget Workshop

The City Manager gave an overview of the budget, linking it to
the goals and objectives set at the Council's retreat in June.
The Mayor called a recess at 6:10 pm, and reconvened the
meeting at 6:42 pm.
The City manager then discussed the proposed tax rate, and
general fund revenue sources.
The Mayor called a recess at 7:59 and reconvened the meeting
at 8:08 pm.
Council then discussed general fund revenues, general fund
transfers, Council administration, general government
administration, fire suppression, and fire prevention.
The Mayor adjourned the meeting at 9:20 pm.
