The City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, met
workshop meeting on Tuesday, August 21, with Mayor Bill
presiding.

Call to Order - 5.00 p.m.

Under direction of the City Manager, the City Council
discussed the following. Airport - revenue from leases and
rentals, operation expenses, and grant funding, transfer of -the
responsibility of the Emergency Management Program from the Fire
Marshall to the Risk Manager, Customer Service Departments
operation and closure of the Landfill; Facilities Maintenance
Department {city - owned, city- operated buildings }; Vehicle Service
Center.
The Mayor called a recess at 6:10 p.m., and reconvened the
meeting at 6.50 p.m.
Discussion continued on the following issues. Sale of Surplus
Property, General Debt Service Fund; Personnel Salary Schedules,
range adjustments and salary increases.
The Mayor called a recess at 8.12 p.m.,, and reconvened the
meeting at 8.27 p.m.
Discussion continued on the following issues. Employee health
benefits; clarification of General Fund Revenue.
Budget Workshop -- 04/21/90
The Mayor addressed the Council regarding a letter received
from WBCO and clarified some of the information included in this
listing of contributions. He also stated that the City Manager
would be given a salary increase, in addition to the merit
increase, following Council evaluations being completed.
The Mayor adjourned the meeting at 9 ®12 p.m.
