BOX 409 GEORGETOWN, TEXAS 78627 The City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, met workshop meeting on Tuesday, August 21, with Mayor Bill presiding. Councilmembers present. Winfred Bonner Mike McMaster Barbara Pearce Joe Saegert Bob Schrawger Ferd Tonn Shorty Valdez Councilmembers absent. Staff present. Bob Hart, City Manager Marianne Landers Banks, City Attorney Glenn Reynolds, Finance Director Jim Briggs, Public Utilities Director Hugh Anderson, Police Chief Hartley Sappington, Community Services Leslie Gregoire, Deputy City Secretary Call to Order - 5.00 p.m. Budget Workshop Connor None Director Under direction of the City Manager, the City Council discussed the following. Airport - revenue from leases and rentals, operation expenses, and grant funding, transfer of -the responsibility of the Emergency Management Program from the Fire Marshall to the Risk Manager, Customer Service Departments operation and closure of the Landfill; Facilities Maintenance Department {city - owned, city- operated buildings }; Vehicle Service Center. The Mayor called a recess at 6:10 p.m., and reconvened the meeting at 6.50 p.m. Discussion continued on the following issues. Sale of Surplus Property, General Debt Service Fund; Personnel Salary Schedules, range adjustments and salary increases. The Mayor called a recess at 8.12 p.m.,, and reconvened the meeting at 8.27 p.m. Discussion continued on the following issues. Employee health benefits; clarification of General Fund Revenue. Budget Workshop -- 04/21/90 The Mayor addressed the Council regarding a letter received from WBCO and clarified some of the information included in this listing of contributions. He also stated that the City Manager would be given a salary increase, in addition to the merit increase, following Council evaluations being completed.
