TUESDAY, JANUARY 30, 1990
The City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, met in a Special
Meeting on the above date at 7000 p.m. with Mayor Tim Kennedy
presiding. The following members of the Council and officials were
present. Councilmembers Ercel Brashear, Winfred Bonner, Doak
Fling, Barbara Pearce, Joe Saegert and Shorty Valdez, Cit Manager,
Bob Hart, City Attorney, Diane Callander; Deputy City Secretary,
Leslie Barone, Chief of Police, Hugh Anderson, Director of
Development and Planning, Ed Barry, Director of Community Services,
Hartley Sappington.
WORKSHOP MEETING - 7:00 P.M.
900051 Board, Committee, Commission Introduction and
Orientation /Mayor Kennedy
Welcome to all new Board /Committee /Commission members and
expressed thanks for their willingness to serve.
Introduction of all new members in attendance.
900052 Annual Reports /Bob Hart
The Annual Reports for City of Georgetown Boards/
Committees /Commissions are being received in the City
Secretary's office and will be distributed to all
Councilmembers within the next couple weeks.
900053 Ethics Review /Diane Callander
Presented by Diane Callander, City Attorney. Highlighted
topics included the following. Conflict of Interest,
Misuse of Official Information, Official Misconduct, and
Gifting of Public Servants.

Following the conclusion of the Ethics Review and there
being no further business to come before the Council,
Mayor Kennedy adjourned the meeting.
