The City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas met in a Special Ses-
sion on the above date at 7:00 p.m. with Mayor Kennedy presiding. The fol-
lowing members of Council and officials were present: Councilmembers Barbara
Pearce, Luther Laubach, Mike McMaster, and Ercel Brashear, City Secretary,
Leta F. Willoughby, City Manager R. Bob Gaylor, City ttorney, Diane Cal-
lander, Interim Director of Public Utilities, Jim Briggs, Fire Chief, Les
Bunte, Director of Community Services, Hartley Sappington, Director of Plan-
ning and Development, Ed Barry and Director of Finance and Administration,
Glenn Reynolds.
Councilmember Doak Fling was absent until the continued meeting on Thursday,
August 4, 1988.
WORKSHOP MEETING - 7:00 P.M.
1. 1988-89 BUDGET WORKSHOP
A workshop was held to discuss the 1988-89 budget.
Due to the length of the meeting, Mayor Kennedy recessed
approximately 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m, on Wednesday,
7:00 p.m. to continue budget discussions.

Mayor Kennedy reconvened the budget workshop meeting.
