Council's Subcommittee on Water and Wastewater and
-representation from City residents.

discussion followed. Representative from Georgetown Railroad
was recognized by the Mayor to address the Council regarding
the impact of Council's possible actions on Georgetown
Railroad.
Motion by McMaster and second by Lackey to approve the
submittal of the "Comment to I e s;. $ regarding MkT R.O.W.
Abandonment" with the following paragraph to be included at
the end of the first paragraph,
"T is req est is premised on the understanding that interim
trail use is precluded by decisions which continue rail
service along the R.O.We an response to requests from local
shippers and/or short -line railroads. The intent of the City
being: 1) to support continued rail service as long as a
viable operator is in service, 2) to ensure the preservation
