HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 08.17.1987 CC-RAugust 17, 1987 The City Council of the City of Georgetown met in Regular Session on the above date at 6:00 P.M. with Mayor Jim Colbert presiding. The following council members and officials were present: Council Member Luther Laubach, Council Member Joan King, Council Member Marvin E. Lackey, City Secretary Pat Caballero, City Manager R. Bob Gaylor, and Development and Planning Director Ed Barry. Council Members McMaster and Pearce were absent 870325. Certification of Annexation Petitions John Warden, Chief of Current Planning, made the following comment for the record. Motion by Laubach and second by King to affirm the following comment. That the Petitions meet the requisites required by the Municipal Annexation Act for petitions for voluntary annexation, in being signed by owners of all the areas to be annexed, or, of a majority of the qualified votes in the areas to be annexed.
