The following council members and officials were present: Eb C. Girvin, Joan King, Marvin E. Lackey, Bill Connor, William C. Shell, City Secretary Pat Caballero, City Manager R. Bob Gaylor, Director of Finance and Administration David Quick, Director of Public Works Allyn Moore, Community Development and Planning Director Ed Barry, and Police Chief Hugh Anderson III. 6:00 PM COUNCIL/STAFF WORKSHOP The City Council held a council/staff workshop at which time the following topics were discussed: A. Co. 6/25/86 statement 41852.16 by Shell to Peabody Contractors Co. 6/25/86 statement 103948.63 Motion carried Nunn & Shumway 6/26/86 statement 297136.80 unanimous vote. 3® ORDINANCE - ABANDONMENT OF 10` ALLEY IN BLOCK 5 SOUTHSIDE ADDITION - SECOND READING To adopt on second reading an ordinance vacating and abandoning that certain alleyway running within the entire block 5 of the south side addition to the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 73, Page 455, of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texase excepting and reserving unto the city any part of the abandoned portion of said alleyway if there exists any functional utility lines or appurtenances thereon or thereunder. (volume number 21) REGULAR ITEMS: 4® ORDINANCE - BUDGET TRANSFER NUMBER 2, EMERGENCY READING - DAVID QUICK Motion by Connor and second by Shell to adopt on emergency reading an ordinance of the City Council of Georgetown, Texas amending ordinance no. 85-28 adopted August 27th, 1985, which was the original budget of said city for the fiscal year 1985-86 beginning September lst, 1985 and ending August 31st 1986 and being once amended by ordinance 86-25 duly passed by the city council on June 10th, 1986; providing for a transfer between divisions; approving and adopting the amended budgets providing a severability clause and declaring an emergency. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (volume number 10) ADJOURN Motion by Connor and second by Shell to adjourn. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
