The Cite Council met in Special Session on the
above date at 6:00 PM with Mayor Jim Colbert
presiding. The following council members and
officials were present: Eb C. Girvin, Joan King,
Marvin E. Lackey, Bill Connor, William C. Shell,
Citi Secretary Pat Caballero, Cite Manager R.
Bob Gaylor, Director of Finance and
Administration David wick, Director of Public
Works Allyn Moore, Community Development and
Planning Director Ed Barri, Police Chief Hugh
Anderson III, Fire Chief Les Bunte,, Fire
Marshall Tom Leggit and Tax Assessor/Collector
Barbara Raney.
1. COUNCIL BUDGET WORKSHOP
The City Council held a 1986/87 fiscal year
budget workshop.

1986/87. She reported that the maximum
increase
allowed for ad valorem taxes before
the
city
may subject itself to tax rollback election

be 34.118 cents per $100.00 valuation.
Motion
by Connor and second by Shell
to
recommend
the adoption of the 34.118 cents
per
$100.00
valuation. Motion carried by unanimous
vote.
