above date at 5:30 PM with Mayor Jim Colbert
presiding. The following council members and
officials were present: Joan King, Marvin E.
Lackey, Bill Connor, William C. Shell, City
Secretary Pat Caballero City Manager R. Bob
Gaylor and City Legal Counsel Randy Stump.
Council Member Eb C. Girvin was absent.
1. EXECUTIVE SESSION UNDER ART® 6252-17 SEC. 2 (E) LITIGATION
Mayor Colbert announced that the council would
meet in executive session under Art. 6252-17
Section 2 (e) Litigation to discuss Jobe Carter.
After the executive session the meeting was
again open to the public.
Motion by Connor and Second by Shell to
authorize the Mayor and City Manager to settle
the Jobe Carter Case as per the instructions of
City Attorney Stump and Stump. Motion carried by
unanimous vote.
ADJOURN Motion by Connor and second by Shell to
adjourn. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
