Mayor Colbert announced that the City, is seeking
nominations for the following committees:
Council Salary Review Committee, Library Hoard
(2) and Historic Preservation Committee (1).
Such appointments will be made at the November
11, 1986 Regular Council Meeting.
6® ABOMINATIONS FOR WILLIAMSON COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT - MAYOR
COLBERT
Mayor Colbert announced that the Citi is seeking
nominations for a person to represent Georgetown
on the Williamson County Appraisal District.
Such appointment shall be made at the October
28, 1986 Regular Council Meeting.
7. PROPOSED IH 35 SOUTHEAST ANNEXATION AREA - MICHAEL LAUER
Motion by Connor and second by Lackey to table
the annexation of IH 35 Southeast Area until
this matter is brought up again. Motion carried
by unanimous vote.
8. 1986 ANNEXATIONS PUBLIC HEARING - MICHAEL LAUER
Mayor Colbert announced that the City Council
will hold a public hearing on the 1986
annexations to the City of Georgetown. The
following persons were present: Jennie Mother�l,
R. Be Motheral, Charles Johnson, Virginia
Johnson, Vernon Burgner, C. R. Turner, Joe
Woesham, We H. Hays, Bob Brent, Bob Lane, H. D.
Shanklin, Judi Shanklin, Gwen Morrison, and Ron
Gahagan.

DISTRICT MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE, TO
CHANGE THE PROPERTY OF JAMES W. LACKEY IN THE Co
STUBBLEFIELD SURVEY ABSTRACT N0. 558 IN THE CITY
OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS FROM R -S SINGLE FAMILY
DISTRICT TO C -2A, COMMERCIAL - FIRST HEIGHT
DISTRICT ZONING CLASSIFICATION AS HEREINAFTER

10. SERENADA ELEVATED TALK SITE SURVEY AGREEMENT - ALLYN MOORE

agreement

Serenada
Elevated
Tank Site Survey for a
cost
of
$6,700.00.

11. SESQUICENTENNIAIL, SIDEWALK PROJECT FINAL ACCEPTANCE - RAY
GREEN
Motion by Connor and second by Lackey to accept
the completion of the Sesquicentennial Downtown
Sidewalk Project and approve final quantities
and payment conditioned upon a representative
from the Public Works Division meeting with each
adjacent property owner that sustained damage
during the construction project to determined if
all such damages have been repaired. Motion
carried by unanimous vote.

adjourn. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
