Called to order ! •
A Joint Workshop with Planning and Zoning Commission to discuss the proposed unified development code
Members of the Development Ordinance Committee were recognized. Lee Einsweiler of Duncan and
Associates was introduced and he distributed draft copies of the proposed unified development code to the
Council and Planning and Zoning Commission members. He used a slide presentation to summarize the
procedures and processes of the proposed development code.

(1) Review/revise workshop schedule and council calendar
This item was not discussed.
(2) Review of Council Policies to be adopted by ordinances
There was discussion regarding specific policies and whether to adopt them as ordinances or
delete them as policies.
C Comments from the dais regarding the following items:
1. Discussion of Upcoming Workshops
- Chamber of Commerce, GISD, and TxDOT workshops
Council received copies of a faxed letter to the Mayor from Chamber President Rick Smith asking
for a joint workshop with Council on April 15.
