PolicyDevelopment/Review Workshop -- Called to order at 4:03 p.m.
A Billing for Fire Services -- Anthony Lincoln
Lincoln told Council that the City of Georgetown has not charged for service in the past. He said the
objective is to enhance the service delivery through the funding received for service. He said the City would
accept whatever the citizen's insurance will pay, and no medicaid or medicare patients would be billed.
With the funding used to purchase an additional apparatus and additional ladders, the ISO rate will improve
which will benefit the citizens. He also suggested charging for certificates of occupancy and second or third
inspections, using that revenue to enhance the public education delivery.
B Discussion of current status of Boards, Commissions, Committees, and consideration of possible actions
for streamlining, merging, defining, reorganizing them to create more efficient use of volunteers -- MaryEllen
Kersch
Kersch asked Council to consider how to reorganize or restructure the boards and commissions and to give
her their comments before the first Council Meeting in January.
C Review of governmental and non-profit fee waivers -- Dave Hall
Hall reviewed the waivers allowed by Council in the past. He told Council he would prepare an outline of
options for consideration at a future Council Meeting.

Annotated, the items listed below will be discussed in closed session and are subject to action in the
regular session that follows.
