MINUTES OF THE
SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
CANVASSING COMMITTEE OF
THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
Staff present:
City Secretary Sandra Lee
Mayor Nelon called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
A Convening of the duly -appointed Canvassing Committee to canvass the results of the November
7, 2006 Special Election — Sandra D. Lee, City Secretary and Patricia E. Carls, City Attorney
The Canvassing Committee, composed of Farley Snell and Doug Smith, left the dais to canvass
the results. Upon return, Smith noted that the canvass of the election results was true and correct.
B Consideration and possible action to approve on emergency reading an ordinance canvassing the
votes for the November 7, 2006 Special Election and declaring the results to be official — Sandra D.
Lee, City Secretary and Patricia E. Carls, City Attorney
Motion by Sansing, second by Eason to approve Ordinance 2006419 on emergency reading.
Approved 5-0. (Berryman and Carr absent) The ordinance, the certificate for ordinance and the
tally for the Election Register are attached to these minutes for the Record.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:05 p.m.
