Tuesday, March 21, 2023
The Georgetown Arts and Culture Advisory Board met on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 4:30 PM at City
Hall, 808 Martin Luther King, Jr Street.

at 4:30 pm.
Announcements:
• Jessica - Students district art show next week Norma - work is displayed at
• Georgetown High School hall of honors Karen - Cinderella is playing at the Palace
• and Silent Sky is at the Play house Sonja - Lots of Arts event for the entire month
• of April David - Exhibits at St. David's Hospital and had the GT Film Festival last
• weekend.
1.13 Approval of minutes
Consideration and approval of the February 21, 2023 meeting minutes - David Valdez,
Board Chair
Moved by Sonya Robinson; seconded by Norma J Clark to Approve .

1.0 Artist exhibit in City Hall
Consideration and possible action to approve the artist to exhibit in City Hall Gallery
from April - June 2023 - Amanda Still, Arts and Culture Program Manger
Moved by Sonya Robinson; seconded by Norma J Clark to Approve as presented by
staff.

1.D Artwork for Utility Box
Consideration and possible action to approve replacement student artwork for the
utility box at Austin Ave and 2nd Street - Amanda Still - Arts and Culture Program
Manager
Moved by Rachel K Hancock; seconded by Norma J Clark to Approve as presented by
staff.

Presentation of Arts and Culture Coordinator Report - Amanda Still, Arts and Culture
Program Manager
• Completed Projects - 175th Celebration Mural
• Upcoming Projects - GISD Mural Collaboration, SOMA sculpture installation,
Neighborhood engagement for San Jose mosaic mural, Utility box art.
• Cultural District Programming - Brown Bag Luncheon, Spring Art Stroll
• Future Meeting Timeline - no meeting in April, May will be next meeting.
