The Georgetown Arts and Culture Advisory Board met on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 4:30 PM at City
Hall, 808 Martin Luther King, Jr Street.

1.0 175th Mural Selection
Consideration and possible action to approve the 175th Anniversary Mural Design -
Amanda Still, Arts & Culture Coordinator
Board discussed the 175th Anniversary Mural Design and made recommended
changes for the artist.
Moved by David Valdez; seconded by Norma J Clark to Approve.
Motion Approved: 6- 0

Turpin, David Valdez, Stacy M Reed
Voting Against: None
LID Arts & Culture Grants
Consideration and possible action to award 2023 Round 1 of the Arts & Culture Grants -
Amanda Still, Arts & Culture Coordinator
Board reviewed the submitted grant applications and made recommendations.
Moved by Karen E Turpin; seconded by Sonya Robinson to Approve.
Motion Approved: 5- 0
