The Georgetown Planning and Zoning Commission met on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 6:00 PM at
Council and Court Building, 510 W. 9th Street.

Public Hearing and possible action on a request for a Zoning Map Amendment to rezone

property generally located at 1310 Maple Street, (2022-16-REZ). - Maddison O'Kelley,
Preservation and Redevelopment Manager
Maddison O'Kelley presented the staff report. Chair Perthuis stepped out of the chambers
for this item due to a conflict of interest.
Commissioner Dickey asked how many units are proposed. O'Kelley established that the
preliminary plat they submitted requests 5, but it has not been approved yet.
Commissioner Dickey opened and closed the public hearing with no speakers coming
forth.
Moved by Doug Noble; seconded by Mike Tiland to Approve Item 2.A as presented.

2.13 Kimley Horn - Future Mobility Plan/Sidewalk Master Plan/Future Land Use
Presentation, discussion and feedback on the update to the Future Mobility Plan,
Sidewalk Master Plan, and Future Land Use Plan - Mayra Cantu, Strategic Support
Manager and Jake Gutenkunst, Kimley-Horn
Nat Waggoner introduced the project's team lead, Jake Gutekunst with Kimley-Horn, who
presented the Future Mobility Plan, Sidewalk Master Plan and Future Land Use
presentation.
Commissioner Stanley asked if they have looked at past reports and whether they were
helpful. Gutekunst established that the Sidewalk Master Plan has been very successful
and provided a lot of guidance for the project, but it does need a refresher. The Overall
Transportation Plan, now called the Future Mobility Plan, also needs a refresher.
Commissioner Dickey commented that North/South travel has gotten better and
connectivity has seemed to improve.
Commissioner Dickey asked if the map will tie into the upcoming UDC update. Sofia
Nelson established that several elements will tie into the update.
Sofia Nelson established that there will be a joint P&Z and City Council meeting at the
Library on November 11'h at 2 pm. City Council has also requested a workshop on
industrial PUDs. The same presentation will be given at the next meeting.
No action was taken by the Commission on this item.
