The City Council met on the above date in called session, Mayor R. S. Elliott
presiding. The following Councilmen and officials were present; Jay C. Sloan,
Doyle Lyda, A. W. Hoyt, Jr, H. H. Brock, Edward Lee Evans, Charles D. Eyeington, City
Manager, Claud Eads, City Secretary.
Motion by Lyda and seconded by Hoyt that the City Managerls budget work sheet
be approved subject to amendments as applicable to August changes. Motion carried
by unaminous vote.
Council recommended that City Attorney, Joe B. McMaster prepare a Trailer
House Ordinance to restrict Trailer Houses to licensed trailer parks.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
Authorizing and directing the Mayor and City Secretayy of said City to borrow
$24,000.00 at the rate of 5% interest to be repaid in twelve months with interest.
Motion by Evans and seconded by Lyda that above Resolution by adopted. Ration carried
by unaminous vote.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
Authorizing and directing the City Manager, City Secretary, City Auditor and
City Attorney to decide on appropriate signatures to signing checks.
Motion by Hoyt and seconded by Evans that above Resolution by adopted. Ration carried
by unaminous vote.
There being no further business on Motion by Brock and seco by Evans meeting
adjourned.
