November 20, 1984
The City Council met in Special Session on the above date
at 5:45 P.M. with Mayor Carl Doering presiding. The
following Council Members and Officials were present: Eb
Girvin, Bill Connor, William Shell, Joan King, Jim Colbert,
City Manger Leo Wood, City Secretary Pat Caballero, Public
Works Director W. L. Walden, Planning Director Renee Hanosn.
Brazos River After a long discussion on the Brazos River Authority,
Authority motion by Connor and seconded by Colbert to resolve that the
City Council of the City of Georgetown does hereby notify
the Brazos River Authority that it desires to contract for
all Lake Stillhouse Hollow current water and optional
water which is available to the City of Goergetown which at this
time was assume to be 2.84 current M.G.D. and 2.01 MGD optional
future water. Voting went as follows: YES: King, Colbert,
Connor and Shell. NO: Girvin. Motion carried.
Misc. No action taken on this matter.
Adjourn Motion by Connor and seconded by Shell to adjourn. Motion
carried by unanimous vote.
