The following councilmen and officials were present, William Lanes, Harry Gold, Joe Crawford, J. D. Wininger, Hubert Brock, City.Manager Leo Wood, Asst. City Manager Claud Eads, Electrical Superintendent Willie Robinson and Architect Roger Erickson. Others present were Richard Mittanck, Lee Evans, Norma Harris, Harold Parker, Mayor Dale Hester of Hound Hock and Hound Rock Attorney Tom Curtis. Monthly Minutes Minutes of council meetings held on January 10 and Janaury 24, and Reports 1972 were approved as presented. cities. This item will be brought up at the next council meeting for Motion by Gold and seconded by Wininger that the General fund Hall bills in the amount of.$2,498.77 and Utility fund bills in the amount of $23,992.09 be approved and paid. Motion.carried by unanimous vote. Electrical Dept. The following bids on a 1972 pick-up for the Electrical Dept. Pick-up Bids were opened. Advertise for Motion by Wininger and seconded by Gold that City Manager Wood Draeger Motor Company $2,394.00 Compton Motor Company 2,149:00 Motion by Gold and seconded by Lanes that the low bid of $2,149.00 be Compton Motors be accepted. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Annexation of An annexation petition and plat was presented for San Gabriel San Gabriel Heights by Mr. Bryan Schuller of Hale Engineering Firm. Heights Motion by Gold and seconded by Brock that annexation petition, plat and annexation ordinance be accepted and approved, and that the ordinance be passed to its first reading. Ordinance was read by Mayor Sloan. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (Seb Ordinance Book #2 - Page 267-268) Annexation of The dedication, annexation petition, and annexation ordinance Country Club for Country Club Acres Unit 5, was presented to the Council by Mr. Acres Unit 5 Harold Parker. Motion by Wininger and seconded by Gold that the annexation petition, plat dedication,,and ordinance be approved and accepted, and that the ordinance be passed to its first reading. Ordinance was read by Mayor Sloan. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book No. 2- Page 268-270) Harold Parker - Sewer Services old Crestview Addition Harold Parker asked the council to install sewer service for residences in the old Crestview Addition. Motion by Brock and seconded by Gold that Manager Wood contact Mr. Holloman about insthlling sewer pipe in this area. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Mr. Wood stated that the cost on constructing the project would be about $12,000.00, and that he would get the project under way. Round Hock Mayor Dale Hester and Attorney Tom Curtis, representing the City Agreement of Round Rock, discussed the agreement concerning the City of Hound Hock city limits and extra territorial jurisdiction between the two cities. This item will be brought up at the next council meeting for final approval. American Legion Motion by Wininger and seconded by Gold that City Manager Wood Hall proceed with preparing estimates for repairing the American Legion Hall for a Day Care Center. Motion carried by unanimous vote. The council was advised that McMaster and Stump would prepare all legal papers for the city to accept the Legion Hall. Advertise for Motion by Eanes and seconded by Gold that City Manager Wood be New Tractor authorized to advertise.for bids on a new tractor and side mower to & Mower be opened March 13, 1972. Motion carried. Advertise for Motion by Wininger and seconded by Gold that City Manager Wood Electrical Suppliesbe authorized to advertise for bids on electrical poleline hardware and supplies. Bids to be opened March 13, 1972. Motion carried. 185
