April 10, 1967
The City Council met on the above date, Mayor Pro -ten Edward Lee
Evans presiding. *The following councilmen and officials Ivrere present:
William It. Eanes, Harry Gold, Hubert H. Brock, Doyle Lyda,•City Manager
Charles D. Eyeington, Assistant City Manager Claud Etds, City Attorney
Joe B. McMaster,snd Chief -of Police Frank J. Masur, Jr. Alsp present
were: James A. Rehler, Mr. Draeger, Gilbert Bredtfiauer and'Mrs. Baker
with Williamson County Sun and Drew Ballard with K.G.T.N.6 o -
Edward Lee Evans and Doyle Lyda were appointed to canvass election
returns.

That Hubert Brock received 366 votes
That Harry Gold received 388 votes

Total votes, cast 411.

Motion by Eanes and seconded by Brock th.tt the General Ynnd bills
in the amount of $2,799.41 and Utility Fund'lills in'the amount of
$16,550.43 be paid. Motion carried by unanimous vote.

Police Car Police car bids from Draeger Motor Company and Compton Mdtoxs were "
Bids opened but,due to the fact that both parties misunderstood thait-bld car
was to be considered as trade in, both, parties agreed' -to submit another
bid at a later date.
Drainage Drainage Ditch, bids were opened. No final action was taken as
Ditch Engineers suggested that the bids be tabulated and submitted_>o the
Bids Council at a later datel See bins listed on face page_.
Airport Oil lease of the airport property was discugsed - no action was
Uil Lease taken.

April 25, 1967 to revilw'. the -Administrative Controls, particularly the:
zoning map. Comprehens�v�.& Capital-lmprdvement reports, -were also .appm ved.
Dug -outs Dag -outs for har+ l field,and restrooms we're discussed. ; Mayor,
Restrooms Pro-temEvans suggested that the 4ilding of dug outs be ;done at once-.
Gold suggested that co�struction'of dug-oluts and restroems be _lpoke4 into

IMPACT -I Manager Eyeington stated that there would be a meeting of HUD
Workshop representatives on April 13th, also representatives from the State Dept.
and Parks and Wildlife Department would be present. Mr. Pyeington stated
that a workshop would be conducted at this time.
A. W. Hoyt Mayor Pro -tem suggested that a letter of appreciation be sent to
Appreciation A. W. Hoyt, Jr., retiring Councilman.
Camping Area Harry Gold suggested that Jim Rehler, Skip Morse and Georger.Gregg
Committee serve on Camping area program committee. Mayor Pro -tem Evans stated that
he would contact Mayor Sloan in regard to appointment.
There being no further business, on motion by Brock and seconded
by Lyda meeting adjourned.

special session at 7:39 o'clock PM. C.S.T. on Monday April 17, 1967,
at the City Hall for the following purposes:
1. Open bids - Police Car
2. Award Contract - Drainage Ditch
3. Discuss Summer Recreation Program

upon the Minutes:
WAIVER OF NOTICE OF AND CONSENT TO SPECIAL MEETING
We, the undersigned, ds hereby accept notice of this special meet-
ing, waiving any and all irregularities in the service of notice and do
hereby consent and agree that the City Council of the City of Georgetown
shall meet at their regular meeting place at 7:30 o'clock P.M., on
the 17th day of April, 1967.
