May 10th, 1965.
The City council met in regular session on the above date Mayor
Pro -Tem Edward Lee Evans presiding. The following Councilmen and
officials were present, H. H. Brock, Doyle Lyda, A. W. Hoyt, Jr.,
Jay C. :;loan, Lee C. Black, City Manager, Claud Eads, City Secretury,
Joe.B. McMaster, City Attorney, Jessie Lozano, Fire Chief, Lenard
McLaughlin, Fire Marshall, Also present were Drew Ballard with
K.G. T. N. Radio Station.
Manager Black read minutes of meeting held, April 12, 1965.
and called meeting held April 19, and April 27, 1965. Minutes were
approved as read.
Manager Black read reports for the month of April and pre-
sented General Fund bills in the amount of $671.46. Motion By
Hoyt and seconded by Brock that reports be accepted &nd General Fund
bills be paid . Motion carried b unanimous vote.
Sloan and seconded by Brock that -Dr. Douglas Benod Appointment as
City Health Officer for ensuing year be approved. Motion carried by
unanimous vote. POOL HALL ORDINANCE.

Motion by A. W. Hoyt, Jr, and seconded by Jay C. Sloan that Ordinance
be passed to its first reading. Ordinance was read in full.
Motion by Lyda and seconded by Hoyt that Ordinance be passed
by one reeding only. Roll call as follows: Ayes -Brock, Lyda,
Hoyt, Sloan - Noes - None. Mayor Pro -Tem Evans declared ordinance
passed. RESOLUTION.

GEORGETO'0 N, TEXAS, ABANDO11ING A CERTAIN ALLEY-
WAY LYING BETWEEN FLOCKS 14 AND 15 IN THE HUGHES
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:

'Motion by Sloan and seconded byiloyt that Resolution be
approved. Roll call as follows : Ayes, Sloan, Hoyt, Brock, Lyda.
Noes - None.
There being no further business on motion by Sloan and se-
conded by Brock meeting adjourn.
