March 29, 1965.
The City Council met on the above date, Mayor R. S. Elliott
presiding. The following Councilmen and Officials were present,
E. P. Miles, Doyle Lyda, Edward Lee Evans, Jay C. Sloan, A. 14.
Hoyt, Jr„ Lee C. Black, City Manager, Claud Eads, City Secretary,
Fred Knauth, Hubert Brock, The City Council interviewed Richard
Bean, City Manager of Lockhart, Texas, with respect to his qualifi-
cations as City Manager for Georgetown,
Motion by Edward Lee Evans and seconded by E. P. Miles that
City of Georgetown accept responsibility of contributing $2,500.00
per year for the Hospital care for benefit of the indigent sick
people of Georgetown. Council af,reed to churre'10¢ per electric
meter per month to pay above expenditure. Motion carried unani-
mously..
