The City met in regular session on the above date. M,yor
R. S. Elliott presiding. The following Aldermen and officials
were present, Boyle Lyda, A. W. Hoyt, Jr, E. P. Miles, Edward
Lee Evans, Lee C. Black, City Manager, Claud Eads, City Secretary,
Fire Marshall
Fred Knauth, Lenard McLaughlin,/Claudie Mayo, Superintendent
Electric Department, Joe B. McMaster City Attorney, Dorrell Bradford
Judge Corporation Court, Drew Ballard, with K. G. T. N. Radio
Station, Jessie Lozano, Fire Chief, H. W.-.Curington with Bryant &
Curinrton, Engineers, Nathan Kiser, with Planning Commission,
Bill V,'alker with State Health Department, Dr. Stockton with Business
Research University of Texas, Kyle Orsman, Chief of Police,
Clifford Gustafson, Judith Manly with Williamson County Sun Publish.,
ing Company, John Baker Manager of Chamber of Commerce.
Manager Black read minutes of regular meeting held November 9th.,
1964 and called meeting held on November 30, 1964, Mirrates were
approved as read.
Mana7er Black read reports for the month of November and pre-
sented General Fund Bills in the amount of $745.49• Motion by Miles
and seconded by Lyda that reports be accepted arid General FundLills
be paid. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
ORDER FOR SPECIAL ELECTION.

Motion by Hoyt and seconded by Miles that Special Election be
held on January 30, 1965. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Mayor declared Ordinance passed.
Codification of City Ordinances were discussed and further con-
sideration was to be discussed at a later date.
The following bids were opened aid discussed.

Mayor stated that the bids would be studied and taken un at
the next Council Meetinm.
Master Plan for the City of Georgetown was discussed and ex-
plained by Mr. Nathan Kiser and Dr. Stockton and H. -W. Curington,
Dr. Stockton stated that the projection on their findi.nps at
present, which are not completed as yet, showed that the population
of City of Georgetown. fro -.i:[ -d be 109000 by 1989. Dr. Stockton
stated that the population of the City would be based*on the
economy and not the birth rate. Dr. Stockton stated that
Georgetown had a brimht outlook for greater industrial, develop-
ment in the next 25 years.
Motion by Hoyt and seconded by Miles that Group Insurance
for employees contract be given to Life and Casualty Insurance
Company of Tennessee. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Motion by Lyda and seconded by Hoyt that Manager Black be
authorized to purchase land in Gabriel weights from Russell Parker
for sight for a water tower to he used in the future. Motion
carried by unanimous vote.
There being no further business on motion by Miles and
seconded by Hoyt meeting adjourn.
