Georgetown,'Texas,
July 9th, 1956,
The City Council met in regular monthly session on the above date,
Mayor J. T. Atkin presiding, the following aldermen and officers
were present: Aldermen --J. H. Compton, F. K. Frederieson, Ralph a're
Freund, Kennie Wilcox Jr., and A. C. Toodfin, H. A. Partain* assist -
manager; W. H. Nunn, attorney; A. P. pickle, chief of polioe;
LoGo Glover and M. L. Cates, secretary.
Mr. Partain read the month;y report of the City Manager, which
included the other officials re orte,' and the Health Unit, and bilis
and accounts in the amount of 1052.50 'On motion of Aid Compton,
seconded by Aldo Toodfin, the reports were received for filing and
the accounts ordered paid.
RESOLUTION
Resolution of the City of Georgetown, Texast
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, That the block in said City that is bounded on the north
by 11th Street; on the Bast by Main Street; on.the South by 12th
Street; and on She West by Austin Avenue, and known as"THB OLD
PUBLIC SCHOOL LOT" is hereby ordered to be added to and become
a part of LOST ADDITIONS of the said Cityand to be hereafter known
as Block No. fourteen (14) of Lost Adddition to the City of George-
town, Texas, with the lots thereon numbered as set out inthe Plea
that is attached thereto as apart hereof.
It is further resolved that the said "BLAS'" that is attached
hereto, shall be recorded in the "PLAT RECORDS! of the Ceunty Clerk's
office of Williamson County, Texas.
Passed and approved this the 9th day of July, A. D., 1956.

On motion of Aid* vileoxs seconded by Aid. Freund the foregoing
resolution was passed.
There oeeuring no further business Ald..Toodfin made a motion
that the Council adjourn. The motion was seconded by Aid. Pred-
erioson, and was passed.
