HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 12.10.1951 CC-R69 Georgetown, Texas Desember 109 1951. The City Council met in regular session on the above date, Mayor C. S. Griffith presiding, the following were present: Aldermen: J. T. Atkin, E. K. C?rederieson, F. C. Smith, A. C. Toodfin, Kennie Wilcox; City Manager Lee C. Black, 7. H. Nunn, attorney for the city; C. S. Sanders, assessor -collector; A. P. Pickle, marshal; M. L. Cates, secretary. The minutes of the previous meeting were reed and on motion of Ald. Woodfin were approved. City Manager Black read his mobthly report including the usual officers reports and the bills and accounts which amounted to $485.98. on motion of Ald. F. C. Smith, seconded by Ald. Woodfin, the reports were receiver and filed and the accounts ordered paid. THE PLITMBING ORDINA"TCE came up for its SECCND READING and On motion of Alderman J. T. Atkin, seconded by Alderman F. K. Fredericson, the said Ordinance was read inm full and passed to its third reading, by the following vote: Ayes-- Atkin, Fredericson, Smith, Woodfin, Wilcox, Noes --none. A motion was made by Ald. Atkin, seconded by Ald. Fredericson that City Manager Black and City Marshal Pickle, use their own judgment in appointing a policeman to replace Policeman Simmons, resigned. The motion carried unanimously. SALARY INCREASE FOR CITY MANAG7'R-- A motion.,wQs made by Alderman E. K. Fredericson, seconded by Alderman A. C. rToodhn that the salary of City Manager Lee C.
