The City Council met in regular postponed session on the above date,
Mayor C. S. Griffith presiding, the following aldermen and offisials
were present: Alderman: J. T. Atkin, F. C. Smith, A. C. '9oodfi'n, And
Kennie *Vileox--Ald. Frederisson absent on vaeation.- City Manager lee
Co ?Mask, Attorney for the City '7. N. Munn: A. r. pickle, Marssskall,
Y, L. Cates, Seeretary.
Manager Black read his monthly report, insluding other official re -
reports and the current bills amounting to $368.30. On motion of
Ald. Smith, asesonded by Ald. Tilsox the reports were rese*ivea and filed
and the bills ordered paid.
On motion of Alderman J. T. Atkin, sesonded by Alderman Kennie Tilsox,
the Telephone Rate Ordinanse was read in full end passed unanimously
to the third reading. the follnwinr was the vote: Ayes, Atkin, Smith,
;9ilsox, '.'Toodfin. Noes --none. See ford in rrd 'Book.

The Ordinance was reed in full and on motion of Ald. Atkin, R-esonded
by Ald. Smith, beenurse of the erierreney elause, the ordinance was

by the following vote: Ayes, Atkin, Smith, Tileox, Toodfin. Noes,
none. One Absent.
Ordinanse was read by Caption: Cm motion of Atkin, seconded by
'Moodfin, the said Ordinance was passed to the -Third Reading,
by the following vote: Ayes, Atkin, Smith Toodfin, '7ileox. Noes, none.
Ordinance read by Caption. On motion of Ald. Adkin, seconded by Ald.
Tileox, the said Crdinanee was passed its third reading by the
following vote: Ayes, Atkin, Smith, "!nodfin, 7zleox. ?'Toes --none.
On the motion of Ald. Atkin, seconded by Ald. '"ileox the nforeesn.id
Ordinance was finally passed by the following vote: Ayes, Atkin,
Smith, 'Voodfin,'gilonx. 'Tots, none.
The mayor declered Raid rrdinance duly and conrtitutionr.11y passed.
City Vanager Black reAd a list of all city omployees with subrested
salary finer-psew. On motion of Ald. Smith, seeonded by Ald. Toodfin
the salary increases were rra.nted as sur rested with one dissenting
vote.

ratified the mAyor's seelestion, on motion of Ald. Smith, seoondesd by
Alderman Wooifin.
