The City Council met in its regular monthly session on the above date# N
Mayor C. S. Griffith presiding.,The following were present: City Manager

Sam B. Harris and Sam E. Wilcox. officials: C. S. Sanders, assessor-oolle

M. L. Cates, Secretary.
On motion of Alderman Harris the minutes of the previous session of
the Council were approved.
Manager Lee Co Black read his monthly report, including the reports
of the tre2aurer and marshall, and the bills and accounts amounting
to 0717.29. On Motion of Alderman TPilcox properly seconded the re-
ports Were received and all bills end accounts oredered paid.
Mr. Wallace Evans appeared before the Council in behalf of the
U. S. Organized Reserves, which organization he -stated desired
a meeting place is(or nrmoryl in Georgetown. on motion of Ald. Hamilton
seconded by Ald. Harris, the Mayor was authorized to appoint a, com-
mittee to study and report on the a.dvisabilty of completing the
N.Y.A. Building, or suggest any possibilfty of obtaining proper
housing facilities for the Reserve organization. The Motion Carried.
The following standing committees were appointed by the Mayor:
