Meeting Minutes
September 14, 2017
The Animal Shelter Advisory Board met Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 6:00 prrj at
11OWL Walden Dr., Georgetown, TX 78626.
Regular Session — To begin no earlier than 6:00 pm.
(This Regular Session may, at any time, be recessed to convene an Executive S
for any purpose authorized by the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code
The City of Georgetown is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities

Members Present: Kelly Thyssen (Chairperson), Lyle Warden DVM, Keith Fruge,
Cinthia Medina (Secretary), Anna Eby, Susanne Paclebar
Members Absent: Micki Rundell
Staff Present: April Haughey (Animal Services Manager/Board Liaison)
called to order at 6:02 P.M. by Kelly Thyssen
1. Consideration and approval of minutes from August 2017 meeting — K Ily
Thyssen
a. All members reviewed meeting minutes
b. Keith F. motioned to approve minutes, Susanne P. seconded the mc lion,
passed by unanimous vote.
2. Presentation of Animal Services Statistical and Analytical Report for
August 2017 — April Haughey
a. The percent of cats adopted, as well as the percent returned to owngr was
very high and very good. Board members had no issue with the rep rt.
3. Presentation of current financial status pertaining to fundraising
and the budget— April Haughey
a. Animal Shelter is fully staffed!
b. There were many fundraising events held. The most successful was
for Hounds. Overall a very successful fundraising summer.
4. Public wishing to address the Board
a. No person had signed up to address the board.
Motion to adjourn by Keith F. and seconded by Susanne P.
