Thepurposeofthe2014Sidewalk MasterPlanandPublicFacility AccessAuditistoinventoryexisting publicinfrastructure,identifydesign anduniversalpublicaccessdeficien- cies,evaluatefutureprogramrequire- ments,anddevelopaten-yearimple- mentationplan. The2014SidewalkMasterPlanwill serveasanupdatetoapreviousside- walkstudyin2001,reflectingaddi- tionstotheCity’ssidewalknetwork andchangestolanduseandtrans- portationneeds,aswellasADAreg- ulations.ThePlanalsowillhighlight SculptureShow Bugsplayingchess,aracingarmadil- lo,andafloppydiskmosaicare amongthe74sculpturesyou’llsee attheseventhannualjuriedshowby theTexasSocietyofSculptors.The sculptureshowisattheGeorgetown PublicLibrarythroughSeptember 26.Thesculptures,mostofwhich areforsale,canbefoundinthe lobbyandonthesecondfloorofthe libraryat402W.EighthStreet.For informationonspecialdemonstra- tionsandeventsrelatedtothesculp- tureshow,gotolibrary.george- town.org.
