Legislative Regular Agenda
The Historic and Architectural Review Commission Sign Subcommittee is responsible for
hearing and taking final action on sign applications, by is pug Certificates of Design
Compliance based upon the City Council adopted Dowartown Design Guidelines. This i
regular scheduled mewing of the Sign Subcommittee for consideration and possible action on
the following:
A. Discussion and possible a2tlon to approve the manutes from the April 14,.2014 HARC
Sign Svbcommittee meeting.
Motion by Mae to approve the minutes as submitted_ Second by Winder. Approved 3

B. Pvblic Hearing and possible action o a Certificate of Design Compliance Eor signage at
City of Georgetown, Block 41, Loi 5 (PT), .06 ace s, located at 914 South Austin Avenue,
Suite 201. (CDC -2014-016)
Synatschk presented thestafF report and r mmended approval. Corky Barho� [he
applicant, was available for comments or questions.
The Commissioners expressed c ncerns that the sign w already installed without a
permit Synatschk explained that he has been working with sign c mpanies to help
the nde stand the pro s better. He went on to say that this sign c mpany
uaiderstood because the signs stalled w epla mg a sting signs, they thought
they were already approved. The s res of the stgns are correct
Motion by Mee to approve the CDC as assbmitted. Second by Winder. Approved 3 —

2014 -018)
Synatschk pres rated fhe staff report and stated the applic rat was requ sting. aper a]
for refacing an existing monument sign and door signs. Staff recommends approval.

The Public Hearing w opened and closed with no speakers com ng forth.
No discussion other than the signs look nice.
Motion by Ma¢ to approve the CDC as submitted. Second by Winder. Approved 3 —
