regular scheduled meeting of the Sign Sssbcommittee, For consideration andpossible action on
the following:
1. Review and possible action on the mmu res from the September 9, 2013 Sign Subcommittee
meering.

Request For signage at City of Georgetown, Bloc)<50> Lot 1 (S/I'"I'),..OS acres, located at 824 5.

Synatschk presented the applica Hon. 'The applicant is requesting addiriona] signage for
their busin s. They would like a projecting sign on the front Facade, in the same colors as
the other approved signage.
Ther¢ were no questions by the Commissiohers_
Urban opened the Public Hearing anq closed it with no speakers coming forth.
Mee asked why the red was different than thea Wings and trim of the building> which is a
color. The applicanx, Erland Schulze explained that Hze proposed red was
more visible and also the same color as on the other signage.
Motion by Mee to approve the CDC -2013-013 as proposed. Second by Urban_ Approved

3. Pssblic Hearing and possible action on a Certificate of Design Compliance Request for
signage at City of Georgetown, Block 41., Lot 4 (PT), located at 706 S. Austin Avenue, Suite
201 (CDC -2013-044).
Synatschk presented the application. The applicant is requesting exterior signage on the

primary faSade, inclvdss-.g door arad w ndow signage. Both the front window ixaerior sign
and side door interior window signage would be made of reverse vinyl decals.
The commassaoners did aot have questions.
Urban opened tl-ae Public Hearing and closed it wiB-. no speakers coming forth.
Motion by M¢e to approve the CDC -2013-044 as svbmitt¢d. S¢cond by Urban. Approved

Synatschk preserated the staff report The applicant is r¢qu¢stiug sfguage ori the exterior
faSade of the building. Staff recommends approval of the flush mounted sign-..
Mee stated he thought the sign was sell designed and represents the business well.
Urban opened the Public Hcarirng and closed it with no speakers coming Forth.
Motion by Mee to approve th¢ CDC -2013-045 as submit[ed. Second by Urban. Agproved
