Call to order by Urban at 5:30 p.m. and h¢ read the order of business.
The Hstoric and Architectural Review Commission Sign Subcommittee is responsible for
hearing and taking final action o sign appl:cahons, by i ng Certificates of Dc --sign
Compliance based upon the City Counci] adopted Downtown Design Guidelines. Ths i
.regular scheduled meeting of the Sign Subcommittee, forconsideration and possible action on
the following:
1. Review and passible action on the minutes. from the July S, 2013 Sign Subcommittee
m¢ering.
Motion by M¢¢ to approve the minutes as subiniK¢d. Second by Knight Approved 3

2. Public Hearing and possible action o a Certificate of Design Compliance Izequest for
signage at Lost Addition, Bloch 13, Loi 3-4, 9-8, .6611 acres, located at 1003 South Austin
Avenue (CDC -2013-031).

Urban opened the Public Hearing. at 5:33 p.m. and closed it wilt. no speakers coming
forth.

signage at City of Georgetown, Block 41., Lot 4 (PT),. located at 906 South Austin Avenue
(CDC -2013-032).

exterior signage on the primary fagade. The request includes o e flush m nted sign
above the primary entrance, a projecting sign, door and window signage and a portable

Urban opened the Public Hearing at S39 p.m. at�d closed it with no speakers coming
forth.
Knight started by saying that she chinks the sign i nappropria to for [he building, it

appropriate to the building colors Those colors arc a bloc background with a red/coral
flower. Ms. Sweczy agreed to use those colors.
Motion by Knight to approve the signage for voe 5. Austin Avenue provided the
olors u ed a alight blue background with a rel colored flower and lettering, and
with the fagade signage to fit into the a fisting sign frieze, with staff approval as
nr.eded for the Final drawings. Second by Richard. Approved 3 — O.
