Public Hearing and possible action o a Certificate of Design Compliance Request for xterior alterations at Glasscock Addition, Block 22 �/z, Lot 5-6, .3305 acres, located at 101 East Univ¢rsity Avenue. (CDC -2D33-006) Synatschk presented the staff report The applicant seeks Certificate of Design Com pl:ance approval from HAl2C For exterior changes to the hisroric structure located at 101 H. Commissioners asked questions and offered suggestions regarding the signage and landscaping. Matt explained that the changes had already been made but were unpermitt¢d and w still subject to change. The applicant was questioned about the fisting red signage on the red facade and w� s told that any change to the signage w uld need to come back to Ste commission for review_ Commissioners discussed the bright color combinations. Eby opened the Public Hearing at 936 p.m. Susaa Firth, of 1403 Olive Streeq spoke against the proposed changes_ Shu stated she felt the changes were coo significant for the historic strucht re. She thinks the addition should be etback further from the street, has a about the replacement windows, and cited the Desigrr Guidelin stating any alterarions to a medium priority structure should be subordinate to the original structure, which [his is not.
