Last spay /neuter clinic was in May.
New ordinance — all outdoor cats must be spayed or neutered.
If someone provides harbor to cats they "own" them.
Rachel requested more data on spay /neuter and release of feral cats. Max will bring to next
meeting. Against: releasing the cats is the same as dumping them. Okay in managed colonies
(food and care).
Mary suggested getting a banner about animals and the heat in cars. The banner could be posted
at adoption events.
Max working with ASPCA to get thermometers at trail heads for awareness of heatstroke risk for
pets. Max demonstrated the packs they have to assist pets in distress from heat.
No meeting in August. Next meeting in September.
Meeting adjourned at 6:18 PM.
