Members Present: Shawn Gunnin, Chair, Keith Fruge, Secretary, Debbie Frase, Christy Hullum, Erica Haley, Ken Finn Members Absent: Patty Eason Staff Present: Jackie Carey Minutes Regular Meeting Meeting called to order at 6:05 p.m. by Chair, Shawn Gunnin. 1. Citizen comments — none. 2. February 2007 minutes — Motion by Shawn Gunnin to accept the minutes as presented. Second by Ken Finn. Minutes were accepted unanimously. 3. Report from Shelter Director — Ken Finn reported on the annual statistics for animal services for February 2007. Notably, the number of dog reclaims was very high for the month. There is discussion ongoing with the Williamson County shelter for a possible joint effort to provide low cost spay and neuter services to the community. 4. Update on HSUS recommendations — Ken Finn led the effort on prioritizing all recommendations made in the HSUS recommendations report. The next step is to provide the prioritized recommendations to city staff for inclusion in upcoming city budget process. 5. Discussion and possible action on disaster preparedness — Ken Finn handed out a packet for board members to review for discussion at April's Advisory Board meeting. 6. Discussion and possible action on Board's goals. The board chose to defer discussion to April's Advisory Board meeting. Meeting adjourned by chair at 7:01 p.m.
