The Georgetown Transportation Advisory Board of the City of Georgetown, Texas, met on Monday ,
January 8, 2007 presiding.
Board Members Present:
Jack Noble - Chair, Johnny Anderson - Vice Chair, Ricki Salazar - Secretary, Howell Jones, Charlene
Mendoza arrived @ 1:14 p.m., Henry Carr arrived @ 1:05 p.m.
Board Members Absent:
Doug Smith
Staff Present:
Jim Briggs, Jana Kern, John Aldridge, Tom Benz, Ed Polasek, Mark Miller, Jordan Maddox
Others Present:
Tom Williams -- Wilber Smith, Assoc.
Minutes
Regular Meeting
Meeting Called to Order by Mr. Jack Noble on Monday, January 8, 2007 at 1:01 p.m.
Board may, at any time, recess the Regular Session to convene in Executive Session at the
request of the Chair, a Board Member, the City Manager, Assistant City Manager, City Council
Member, or legal counsel for any purpose authorized by the Open Meetings Act, Texas
Government Code Chapter 551, and are subject to action in the Regular Session that follows.
A. Consideration and possible action to approve the minutes from the regular Board meeting
held on November 13, 2006. -- Jana Kern
Discussion: None
Action: Motion by Anderson seconded by Salazar to approve the minutes as written.
Approved 4-0 (Charlene Mendoza and Henry Carr absent for this vote only, Doug Smith
absent)
B. Discussion and possible action related to Transportation Modeling and 2007/08
Transportation Improvement Plan Process.
Discussion: Polasek presented this item. Polasek passed out the 2007/2008 GTAB TIP book.
Polasek explained each section of the TIP book. Scoring sheets are due back to Polasek/Kern
by January 29, 2007.
Action: None
Motion by Anderson, seconded by Salazar to adjourn meeting
Approved 6-0 (Smith Absent) Meeting adjourned @ 1:45 p.m.
Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 01:45 PM.
