The Airport Advisory Board will meet on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 07:00 PM in the Georgetown Fire
Station No. 4, located at 4200 Airport Road, Georgetown, Texas.

Airport Advisory Board meets every third Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.unless otherwise specified.

1. Call to Order.
2. Consideration and possible action to approve the Minutes of March 21, 2011 meeting.
3. Airport Manager’s Reports:
a. March 2011 Monthly Income and Expense Reports
b. Report on Council Actions related to Airport Advisory Board recommendations
4. Consideration and possible action to recommend that Council award the Airport Aviation
Fuel bid to Avfuel Corporation.
5. Consideration and possible action for setting Agenda Items for the May 16, 2011, meeting.
6. Adjourn.

The Airport Advisory Board of the City of Georgetown, Texas, met on Monday , April 18, 2011.
Members Present:
Dennis Morgan, Gary Hamilton, George Brown, Howard B. Landry, L.E. Williams, Milton Ritter
Members Absent:

Regular Meeting
1. Call to order.
Chairman Brown called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
2. Consideration and possible action to approve the Minutes of March 21, 2011, meeting.
Dennis Morgan: I make the motion to approve the minutes of March 21, 2011.
Buz Landry: I second the motion.
Motion approved 6-0.
3. Airport Manager’s Report:
A. `March 2011 Monthly Income and Expense Reports
Travis McLain: March 2011 Aircraft Operations totaled 6993: +31.9% over March 2010, and +52.9%
over Feb. 2011. On April 15, 2011 100LL - Self Service Avgas increased to $5.00 per gallon.
B. Report on Council Actions
None.
4. Consideration and possible action to recommend that Council award the Airport Aviation Fuel
bid to Avfuel Corporation.
Travis McLain: The City of Georgetown solicited sealed bids for 100 Octane, Low Lead Aviation
Gasoline and Jet-A Jet Fuel with additive for delivery to the Georgetown M unicipal Airport. Bids
were opened on March 23, 2011, at 3:00 P.M. in the office of the Purchasing Manager. Five bids
were received, but two were rejected as non-responsive to the Bid Specifications. Avfuel
Corporation, the current supplier of aviation fuel and services to the Airport was the low bidder
meeting all of the bid specifications. Staff proposes that the Board recommend that the Council
award the bid to Avfuel Corporation for a period of two years, with three, one year options,
effective July 1, 2011.
Buz Landry: I make the motion that the Board recommends that Council award the Airport
Aviation Fuel bid to Avfuel Corporation.
Gary Hamilton: I second the motion.
Motion approved 6-0.
5. Consideration and possible action for setting Agenda Items for the May 16, 2011, meeting.
Agenda item(s) for the May 16, 2011 meeting:
A. Gary Hamilton: Ways to encourage EAA to pursue their education/recreational activities in
Georgetown.
6. Adjourn.

Motion approved 6-0.
