The Airport Advisory Board of the City of Georgetown, Texas, met on Tuesday , February 15, 2010.
Members Present:
Daryl Dressler, George Brown, John Hopper, Katherine Woods, Trey Taparauskas
Members Absent:
None (Van Chandler resigned

Minutes
Regular Meeting
1. Call to order.
Chairman Hopper called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
2. Consideration and possible action to approve the Minutes of January 18, 2010,
meeting.
Trey Taparauskas: I make the motion to approve the minutes of January 18, 2010.
George Brown: I second the motion.
Motion approved 5-0.
3. Airport Manager’s Report:
A. January 2010 Monthly Income and Expense Reports

B. Report on Council Actions
Travis McLain: On January 26, 2010 Council approved the Board ’s recommendation to approve
the request from B&B Hangar, LLC to assign his Airport Ground Lease at 504 Wright Brothers
Drive to CIELOS, LLC effective February 1, 2010.
C. Report on Improvements to Airport Streets
Travis McLain: TxDOT will advertise for bids this month.
D. Board membership update
Travis McLain: Van Chandler resigned 1-21-10 and six new Board members were appointed by
City Council on February 9, 2010. George Brown is appointed Chairman and the new board
members first meeting will be March 15, 2010.
4. Discuss ways to promote aviation at the Georgetown Municipal Airport.
Daryl Dressler: (Reported about meeting with CVB and the City Manager)
5. Consideration and possible action for setting Agenda Items for the March 15, 2010,
meeting.
Agenda item(s) for the March 15, 2010 meeting:
A. Finance & Administration 2010 – 2011 Budget Input
B. Discuss ways to promote aviation at the Georgetown Municipal Airport.
