The City Council of the City of Georgetown met
in Special
Session on the
above
date at 6:45 P.M. with Mayor Jim Colbert
presiding.
The following
council
members and officials were present:
Council
Member Luther
Laubach,
Council Member Joan King, Council
Member
Barbara Pearce,
Council
Member Mike McMaster, Deputy Secretary
Denise
Lebowitz, City
Manager
R. Bob Gaylor, and Development and Planning
Director
Ed Barry.
Consent Agenda:
870476. Variance, Plat Restrictions, Toyah Point Lot One, John Warden
Motion by Laubach and second by McMaster to approve consent item 870476.
Voting went as follows Yes: McMaster, Laubach, Colbert No: King,
Pearce. Motioned carried.
Regular Agenda:
870477. Appoint Subdivision Regulations Advisory Committee Member, Mayor Colbert
Motion by King and second by McMaster to approve the Mayor°s appointment
of Patty Eason to the Subdivision Regulations Advisory Committee
Meeting was adjourned to reconvene at 7:00 PM with the scheduled Public
Hearings.
Adjourn: Motion by Mayor Colbert and second by McMaster to adjourn the meeting
and reconvene for Public Hearings at 7:00 PM.
Public Hearings:
870478. Proposed Annexations
Mayor Colbert called
to order the
Ist
Public
Hearings
on
Proposed
Annexation and Dis-Annexation
asking if
the
Council and
any others
the
audience except Mr.
Ebeling would care
to
speak to
the issue
of
Proposed Annexation.
No one choose to do
so.
The Mayor
asked
that the
staff make the presentation
regarding Proposed
Annexation
to the
Council
on the matter. Staff
gave presentation.
Mayor
Colbert
asked
if there
were any questions.
None were raised.
Mr. Ebeling was recognized by the Mayor and asked if he cared to
speak at this time regarding Proposed Annexation. Comments were made by
Mr. Ebeling regarding the Proposed Annexation and other matters. Mayor
Colbert recessed the Public Hearings on item 870478 and reconvened after
the Public Hearing on Dis-Annexation.
Recess: 7:15 PM
Proposed Annexations - Reconvened 7:17 PM
Mayor Colbert reconvened the Public Hearing on item 870478. No others
wished to make comment. Mr. Ebeling was recognized by Mayor Colbert to
continue his comments and further discussion regarding the matter.
Mayor Colbert asked if anyone else cared to speak regarding Proposed
Annexation. No comments were made. Mayor Colbert asked for a motion to
adjourn.
