6. VARIANCE - CAPITAL RECOVERY FEESr CORPS OF ENGINEERS - ALLYN
OORE
motion by Connor and second by Girvin to grant a
variance for a waiver of the Capital Recovery
Fees associated with supplying the Corps of
Engineers at Lake Georgetown treated water from
the low pressure Lake Georgetown Water Treatment
Plant discharge line. Motion carried by
unanimous vote.

acknowledge the first reading of the following

SUPPORT OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY

EACH LEVY FOR THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE."
9. NATURAL GAS SERVICE RATE - FILL SMITH/DAVID QUICK
Motion by Lackey and second by Connor to propose
that the period for consideration of a request
from Lone Star Gas Company for a service rate
increase for gas customers within the City
Limits be extended until October 31, 1986. Mr.
Bill Smith, representing Lone Star Gas Company,
stated that he is amenable to this and will not
impose any temporary rate increases until this
time elapses or another extension is agreed
upon. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
10. ORDINANCE - 2 HOUR PARKING, 1ST READING - HUGH ANDERSON III
Motion by Connor and second by Shell to
acknowledge the first reading of the following

authorize the Mayor to sign an agreement with
William F. Guyton Associates, Inc. for providing
phase I and II of a ground -water study for a
total cost of $12,500. Motion carried by
